A New York City native, Dan Lubell has been producing and directing short form videos since junior high school, when he and a friend started a public access show in the early 90s. But it wasn't until accepting a job to lead content production at Night Agency, one of the first digital shops to spring up in NYC, did he realize his teenage hobby was actually career training.

After building the department over a few years, working with clients including MTV, Keds, Nine West, Lucky Brand Jeans, Hanes -- (directing Michael Jordan for the bacon neck campaign) -- Lubell parted amicably to start his own production company, Lubell House LLC.

In the last few years, Lubell House has helped concept, produce and direct for a host of agencies (TBWA, Chiat Day, Ogilvy and Mather, 360i, BBDO) and clients (Starburst, Skittles, History Channel, Lifetime, Buitoni, Power Bar, Purina, British Airways, Fisher-Price) to name a few. The British Airways campaign “A Ticket to Visit Mum” was named 2013 internal campaign of the year by Ogilvy and Mather and was part of this years One Screen film festival.

In addition to video producing, Lubell is a also a composer and recently scored his first feature film, "Missed Connections" starring "Frances Ha's" Mickey Sumner. It was the number 1 downloaded indie film on iTunes for several months. Check out the preview. It's all Lubell's music.
